Nichole and Gary had been friends since they were little and now they were off doing there own thing Gary’s was singing and Nichole’s was doing peoples hair. Nichole had always wondered what happened to Gary she didn’t know he was in a group called Rascal Flatts. Gary had thought about Nichole once in a while and wondered if she had become a hairdresser like she always wanted to be. One day they would meet again they just didn’t know it yet.
Nichole: Hey Carrie what’s up?
Carrie: Hey… How would you like to be a hairdresser for a group called Rascal Flatts?
Nichole: I guess it would be fun who is in the group?
Carrie: Gary Levox, Jay Demarcus, and Joe Don Rooney
*Nichole thought she meant Gary Vernon and Jay Demarcus… She didn’t know Gary’s last name had changed to Levox and she knew Jay he didn’t like to be called Stanley so he told them to call him Jay*
Nichole: Oh ok so when do I start?
Carrie: They are in town tomorrow so you can start then.
*She gave her the time and the place then Nichole went to the door some one was there*
Olivia: Hey Auntie!
Nichole: Hey *she gives her a hug then hugs her sister* How are ya’ll doing?
Kristin: Good… How are you?
Nichole: Im good… I just got a call from Carrie my boss. She asked me if I would be a hairstylist for a group called Rascal Flatts.
Olivia: RASCAL FLATTS!!!! Auntie can I go please please please please!!!
Kristin: Olivia Michelle…. Stop your Auntie can’t take you to work with her.
Nichole: Well hold on a minute if you cant go I will try and get you an autograph but give me a second *calls Carrie* Hey Carrie I need to ask you something my niece loves Rascal Flatts and I was wondering if I could bring her?
Carrie: Sure! They love kids Im sure they will love to have her.
Nichole: Great thanks bye.
Olivia: WHAT DID SHE SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nichole: *Smiles* She said you can go
Olivia: YES!!!!!! I LOVE YOU AUNTIE NICHOLE!!!!!!!!!
Nichole: Well I love you too
*Nichole and Kristin laugh as Olivia takes her Rascal Flatts DVD she just got into the living room and as Gary says TURN IT UP TO TEN! That’s exactly what she does*
Kristin: HEY NOT SO LOUD!
*They heard Olivia singing her own little song she made up*
Olivia: I get to go see Gary…. I get to go see Gary!
Kristin: Nichole you know Gary is in that group right… Gary and Jay.
Nichole: Gary Vernon?
Kristin: Yeah
Nichole: Olivia can I see the cover of that Rascal Flatts DVD
*Olivia gave it to her and told her who each of them were*
Olivia: That’s Gary, That’s Jay, and that’s Joe Don
Nichole: And you like Gary?
Olivia: Yeah
Kristin: You might not want to tell your Auntie that she might tell Gary
Olivia: Auntie PLEASE don’t tell GarBear!
Nichole: GarBear?
Olivia: Yeah that’s what we call him Gary is GarBear, Jay is JayJay and Joe Don I guess is JD.
Nichole: oh ok.
Kristin: Well im going to leave Olivia you’ll be ok to spend the night right?
Olivia: I DON’T HAVE MY GARY BEAR!
Nichole: Don’t worry I have something you can use.
Kristin: ok bye
Olivia: Bye Mommy!
*Nichole got out this teddy bear that she was given when she was little it use to be Gary’s*
Olivia: This is old….
Nichole: But you don’t know the story behind it go get your Rascal Flatts DVD…. You see Gary?
Olivia: Yeah
Nichole: Well this teddy bear use to be his
Olivia: Really!
Nichole: Yeah we use to know each other when we were little…. And he gave this to me
Olivia: Did you like each other?
Nichole: Jay told me Gary liked me but I didn’t really like him
Olivia: So GARY LIKED YOU!
Nichole: Yeah I guess you could say that…
Olivia: I wish I was you
*Nichole just laughed and told Olivia it was time to go to bed…. So they went to sleep woke up the next morning got ready and got in the car.*
Nichole: So you excited?
Olivia: YEAH! CAN WE PLAY RASCAL FLATTS CD!
Nichole: Sure
*They finally got there and found the guys*
Joe Don: Oh hi you must be our Hairdresser
Nichole: Yes I am and this is my niece Olivia
Joe Don: Hi Olivia…. Oh yeah and Gary and Jay are over there.
*Nichole looked at Gary and saw a very hot guy he wasn’t the same little boy that she had grew up with*
Gary: Hi… *he realized something* what’s your name again?
Nichole: Its Nichole…*she said hoping he would remember her*
Gary: I use to know a girl named Nichole
Olivia: But…. *Ashley covered Olivia’s mouth so she couldn’t tell Gary*
Jay: Hi Nichole *when he looked at her he knew it was the Nichole they use to know*
Gary: and that pretty little one standing next to you her names Olivia…. That’s a pretty name
Olivia: thanks *she said smiling and blushing*
Jay: Gary….
Gary: Yeah
Jay: Nichole is the Nichole you use to know
Gary: HUH?
Jay: THAT IS NICHOLE!
Gary: *Looks at her again* Omg! It is you! HOW ARE YOU! Im so sorry I didn’t realize that before! So you did become that hairdresser you always wanted to be.
Nichole: *laughs* yep I sure did and you became a country singer that my niece loves
Jay: so little Olivia who is your favorite I know it’s me! *he says laughing*
Nichole: Actually Jay its not you but she still loves you…. Go ahead Olivia tell Jay who you LOVE and talking about ALL THE TIME!
Olivia: *Blushes* Auntie…..
Nichole: I’ll tell him if you don’t
*Olivia doesn’t say anything*
Nichole: Ok…. Her favorite is Gary.
*Olivia hides behind her aunt she turns shy when Gary knows*
Gary: Aw… don’t be so shy…. don’t be like your auntie when we first met
Nichole: Wait I was not like that you were
Gary: Was not you were
Nichole: It was you because you had the crush on me
Gary: No it was you
Nichole: Jay wasn’t it Gary
Jay: Yeah it was
Nichole: SEE!
Olivia: you were shy when you first met my auntie?
Gary: Yeah I was…. Cause I liked her…
Olivia: And what about now
Gary: Well im actually seeing someone
Olivia: WHO!
Gary: Her name is Michelle
Nichole: my ex friend…..
Gary: What ever happened between you and her?
Nichole: She was a back stabbing friend so I quit being her friend and we never spoke after that
Olivia: Is she here?
Gary: No actually she will be here later
Olivia oh ok…. I would really like to meet her
Nichole: So Jay what about you? Who are you seeing?
Jay: Well I saw this girl at one of our meet and greets her name is Allison she’s really…..
Gary: HOT….
Jay: GARY
Gary: Well that’s what you told me *he said laughing*
Nichole: And Joe Don what about you?
Joe Don: Well I haven’t found the right one yet
Nichole: Well im sure you will someday
Gary: You ask about us what about you?
Nichole: well….I haven’t found him yet….
Gary: Really…. I figured you would have found someone by now and would be married with kids….
Nichole: no Gary not yet
Olivia: I know who her perfect match is!
Gary: And who might that be?

Nichole: Olivia he is dating someone who he really likes and im going to find someone…..
Olivia: But Auntie I think Gary still likes you…
*Jay smiles and agrees with Olivia*
*Michelle walks in*
Michelle: hey GarBear!
*Nichole’s fist tightens up*
Gary: Hey Michelle I didn’t think you were coming so early *hugs her*
Michelle: Well I got them to let me off work early I told them I had to come see my future husband before he leaves town.
*hearing this bothered Nichole*
Nichole: excuse me for a minute we will be right back *she said taking Olivia by the hand and walking out*
Olivia: What’s wrong Auntie?
Nichole: Nothing sweetie I just needed to walk outside for a minute to get some fresh air
Olivia: Its Michelle isn’t it?
Nichole: What no what gave you that idea?
Olivia: I don’t know but if it is I don’t like her either
*Back inside*
Michelle: Who was that?
Gary: That was our hairstylist Nichole and her niece Olivia
Michelle: Don’t I know her from somewhere….is that the girl I got in a fight with and I use to be friends with?
Gary: Yeah
Michelle: Oh no she can’t be your hairstylist I have got to make some calls to get you a new one
Gary: Why?
Michelle: Gary you know she liked you and she probably still does and I don’t want her around you flirting with you when im not around. I can’t have my ex friend flirting with my husband
Gary: First of all im not your husband…. Second of all Jay was right about you…. And Third your not going to run my life if you really knew me I wouldn’t let her do that and if you really knew her she knows what she is to do and not to do if im with someone she wont mess with me or flirt with me…. And you know what she is going to be my hairstylist whether you like it or not!
Michelle: Well……then I guess we just can’t be together
Gary: I guess not….
Michelle: You know your going to regret this you will come crawling back…
Gary: No…. I won’t now leave before I have security throw you out
*Michelle left all mad and Nichole saw her leave so she went back inside*
Nichole: Gary what happened with her?
Gary: Where no longer together
Olivia: *her eyes widened* Auntie……
*Nichole looks at Olivia and shakes her head no*
Gary: Hey Nichole would you like to go out…. I mean not like a date or anything just two friends having fun if you want we could have jay and joe don come
Olivia: ME 2
Gary: And Olivia 2
Nichole: …. Sounds like fun but how about just you and me
Olivia: Aw man
Gary: Sorry… But ok sounds good we can go to that nice new restaurant I saw down the street
Nichole: Ok….
*They talked about the hair styles they wanted and all that stuff then Nichole took Olivia home… then later Gary came to Nichole’s to pick her up…. They had a great time talking about old times and everything. Gary still liked Nichole but how to tell her was the question… he took her home and they were at her front door*
Nichole: Thanks Gary I had a great time…. Would you like to come in?
Gary: No… I better get going and I had a great time to the most important thing is that you had fun….
Nichole: Well… maybe we could do this again sometime…..
Gary: Nichole can I ask you a question?
Nichole: Sure
Gary: How do you feel about…. Us?
Nichole: …..Well I really like you you’re a great friend you always have been a great friend why?
Gary: oh nothing I was just asking
Nichole: Can I ask you a question?
Gary: Yeah
Nichole: Do…..Do you still like me…. You know like you did when we were kids?
Gary: Time will tell… I got to go I’ll see you tomorrow before the concert ok! *he said leaving*
Nichole: oh….ok see ya Gary *she said walking in the house and closing the door….. Time will Tell she thought….. What in the world is going on in Gary’s mind…… Then the phone started to ring*
Nichole: Hello
Olivia: Hey auntie…. How did your date go?
Nichole: Olivia it wasn’t a date and what are you still doing up you should be in bed
Olivia: Aw Auntie its only 10:30.…. And I wanted to know how your date with Gary went
Nichole: It wasn’t a date it was just 2 friends having dinner together and talking about old times
Olivia: But you know you wanted to call it a date…. Even Gary was trying to call it a date…. He likes you I can tell
Nichole: How can a little one like you tell what’s going on in a grown man’s mind
Olivia: How can you not I mean he’s so obvious auntie
Nichole: You need to get in bed so you wont be in trouble with your mom ok
Olivia: But how did the dinner go?
Nichole: If I tell you will you go to sleep?
Olivia: Yes!
Nichole: Ok…. It was good we talked about all the stuff we use to do and places we use to go it was fun now go to sleep I love you bye
Olivia: Night Auntie
*Nichole got off the phone with her niece and went to bed she thought of some of the stuff Olivia had said did Gary really still like her…. Nah how could a little girl like her tell what a grown man thinks…. I guess time will tell like Gary said…… she went to sleep woke up the next morning got ready and went to the arena*
*at the arena*
Gary: Jay how do I tell her
Jay: Just tell her man I know she likes you that’s why she left when Michelle was in here she didn’t want to hear her call you her future husband it ticked her off so she left
Gary: You really think this will work
Jay: Gary let me tell you something you remember when we were kids and you told me you liked Nichole
Gary: Yeah and you went and told her
Jay: Yeah but one thing that I never told you because she told me not to was that she really liked you and would love you for the rest of her life and I think she still does love you man just tell her and if it doesn’t work out then you will find someone else
*knock on door*
Gary: Come in
Nichole: Hey Jay…. Hey Gary….Where’s Joe Don?
Jay: Oh he will be a little late but he’s coming
Nichole: Ok Jay you want me to start with your hair first?
Jay: Sure
*Nichole did Jay’s Hair and was going to do Gary’s Next then Joe Don walked in*
Joe Don: Sorry im late…. You want to go ahead and do my hair
Nichole: sure sit down
*Nichole did Joe Don’s Hair then when she started to do Gary’s Hair Jay got Joe Don to leave with him*
Nichole: Ok Gary your turn….. Why did Jay and Joe Don leave?
Gary: I don’t know I think they went to go get something I don’t know
Nichole: Gary…. Time will Tell you know that bothered me all last night
Gary: Im sorry…. Nichole when we were kids did you like me?
Nichole: of course you were my best friend
Gary: I don’t mean as just a friend I mean did you really like me?
Nichole: oh….. Yeah I…. I did
Gary: Do you still now?
Nichole: It depends do you?
Gary: Please just answer my question
Nichole: Yes Gary I do I’ve always loved you and I always will
Gary: You know…. All the years that went by without you I always wondered if you had found someone and if we would ever meet again
Nichole: Gary…. The day that I told jay I loved you I meant it and I haven’t had a boyfriend I was hoping and praying we would meet again one day and now that day is here
*Nichole was done doing Gary’s Hair*
Gary: Nichole I love you
Nichole: I love you too Gary
*Nichole stared into Gary’s eyes then her cell phone rang it was a rascal flatts song as her ring tone then she saw it was her sister calling or it could have been Olivia*

Nichole: I just finished fixing Gary’s hair

Gary: Yeah she fixed it up just fine

Gary: Well actually me and your auntie are thinking about that
Olivia: OH COOL I’ll have Gary as my uncle!
Nichole: Not so fast girl were thinking of it….
Olivia: Oh….well can I still call Gary Uncle Please?
Gary: Sure why not
Nichole: Well we got to go I love you be good for your mom
Olivia: Ok bye Auntie….. Bye Uncle Gary Love you!
*Nichole hung up the phone and looked at Gary*

Gary: What it sounded…… idk
*Nichole laughed and kissed Gary on the cheek then left… Gary thought of how it would be like to spend the rest of his life with Nichole having a big house, a pool, and…. Kids how good that would be but when*

*The concert went by so fast and Gary had asked Nichole to stay if she wanted to she could watch them from the side of the stage then Gary came off stage all sweaty and everything*
Nichole: You guys were great!
Gary: Thanks *he said almost out of breath
Nichole: You want some water?
Gary: That would be nice thank you
Nichole: So I guess for your next show your going to have a different hairdresser?
Gary: What? No…. I want you to stay with us
Nichole: *smiles* really?
Gary: Yeah tonight was the most fun night I had knowing that you were here
Nichole: You know…. You look hot when your all sweaty
Gary: Oh… speaking of that I need a shower…. I’ll be back
*Gary got his self all cleaned up and went back to Nichole*
Jay: So what’s going on with you 2?
Nichole: nothing….
Jay: Yeah I see its nothing all snuggled up to Gary over there miss I don’t care Gary is dating…
Gary: Jay leave her alone you might chase her off
Nichole: Oh he cant do that if he could it would have worked a long time ago
Gary: What do you mean by that?
